About the Organisation

The Australasian Palliative Care Training Organisation consists of a group of like-minded trainers who share the same high level of commitment to the teaching of Palliative Care and Conscious Dying.

Trainers of the Australasian Palliative Care Training Organisation are working towards a common goal - to make a difference in the world using Palliative Care and Conscious Dying techniques as the vehicle for, not only the diagnosed with a terminal or life-threatening condition
to begin to live their dying, but for everyone that finds himself or herself, here, in a body, to live their life more fully. We strive to live these techniques in all aspects of our lives and promote the need for individual integrity and ethical standards in the practice of Palliative Care. We are also community-oriented with a strong service ethic.

Aims
The Australasian Palliative Care Training Organisation was established with two aims:

1. To establish a standard of excellence for the teaching of Palliative Care; and
2. To offer a comprehensive, high-quality and professional training program.
